David has been the pastor-teacher of Miami Bible Church since 2000. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida after his parents and brothers had migrated from Cuba. After his seminary training, David served as an associate pastor for two years in Palm Bay, FL, and as a visiting instructor for Grace Bible Church Training Center in Brandon, FL. In addition to his pastoral ministry at Miami Bible Church, David is a board member of The Expositors Seminary and has served the seminary as a professor. He is also an adjunct professor at MEDA’s Seminary for Expository Preaching (SEPE) a TMAI School in Siguatepeque, Honduras, and for its affiliated SEPE Global. He is a full member of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS). David and his wife, Cheryl, have been married for thirty years and have six children.
